Conductor and pianist Vladimir Ovodok graduated with honours from Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2009.
There he studied piano with Professor Ludmila Schelomenzeva and conducting with People’s Artist of Russia, Gennady Provatorov.
He completed his PhD studies in conducting at Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2010. Following this he specialised his study at the Opera and Symphony Conducting department with conductor of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk, Belarus) and Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre (Moscow, Russia) Vyachaslav Volich.
In July 2015, Vladimir Ovodok became a student of Maestro Riccardo Muti in Italian Opera Academy with Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini (Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra) in Ravenna, Italy. There he also assisted maestro Muti during the production of the opera “Falstaff” G.Verdi.
Today, Vladimir Ovodok is a conductor of The National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of Republic of Belarus, conductor of Symphony Orchestra of the National Belarusian television and radio broadcasting company.
Piano and conducting education and experience:
In June 2005 Vladimir was invited as a pianist to perform Beethoven’s 4th Symphony in piano transcription by F.Listz in Bonn, Germany.
In July 2006 as a conductor he participated in the International Bartok Festival in Hungary with Savarian State Orchestra.
During 2006-2007 as a pianist he had series of concerts in Paris and other cities of France.
In 2008 Russian Musical Society invited Vladimir to perform in Yekaterinburg and other cities of Russia.
In 2009 he was taking professional advices from Music director and chief conductor of Bolshoi Theatre, Professor of Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, Vassily Sinaisky.
In January 2010 as a conductor he attended International Masterclass for Orchestral Conducting with Professor Colin Metters and Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra (Vilnius, Lithuania).
Following his PhD study, Vladimir completed special training course in Saint Petersburg State Conservatory with Professor Alexander Alekseev.
In July 2013, 2014 and 2017 as a conductor he participated in the International Masterclasses with Professor Yuri Simonov and Moscow Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
In July 2015 he became a student and assistant of Maestro Riccardo Muti in Italian Opera Academy with Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini.
